Is this expired color film worth buying?

I,m going to Charlotte tomorrow & a camera store has bins of expired film (mostly
color). The film has been stored at room temperature & has dates from 2001 up.
They have film not even made anymore, and it"s cheep. But I've heard expired
color film doesn't last as long as b&w, especially at room temp. but I don't know
how long. Is this film worth fooling with or not?

Thanks

Greg

If it's a buck a roll or so, I'd buy some to play around with - but obviously not for use on anything critical.

I think c41 film usually ages less drastically than e-6 - I could be wrong on that tho.

Make them an offer... and tell them that this film won't be a big seller with those dates. $1.00 a four pack!

I wouldn't even go this high.

A month ago I bought a "six-pack" of 24-exp Fuji Superia at Costco for $6.99 - Fresh Dated!
