RFF database broken?

Yesterday evening and just now I've been experiencing a tremendously slow or no respons from the RFF databse. The front page opens fine but none of the threads are available and don't load.

Even posting this message doesn't (didn't?) work.

Is it just me, or only across the pond, or is everyone experiencing this?

Having problems for well over an hour now, if not an hour and a half.
And going to the gallery results in this message:

Warning: mysql_connect(): in /usr/local/vbulletin/htdocs/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 74
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost database. []

Network issues. I just reset the router and thing sseem to be ok now. This happens every now and then. I may be moving the server to a colocation sometime in the furture.

Jorge, I figured it was something like that but it seems to occur quite regularly, at least much more frequent than in the past.

Maybe the router's firmware needs upgrading; at least that's the excuse I hear at work when the SAN or backup network isn't working properly.
