New forum for Olympus
If you have some olympus threads, you might want to move them to this forum.

This is really great Jorge!
I would assume that these threads would be for the OM system mostly.

this is an rf site, please remember.
i would imagine that any om threads would be off topic in the oly section instead of the off topic section...

Huh? Where do they go? And I promise to keep the OM chatter to the absolute minimum.
BTW, vintage Oly TLRs would be OT as well.

Thanks for the little reminder I'll try to keep the OM stuff to a minimum.
Of course it does give me a very good reason to go hunting for an XA. The first one with the rangefinder thingy.... and more slide film
I remember the XA as being a great little camera that produced wonderful shots on Fuji 50, i also remember the shutter button was very sensitive and i made a few photos of my shoes. The viewfinder might have been a bit small too, overall if i saw a nice one i would buy it.
Anyone recommend any other great Oly rangefinder cameras?
Then we can all buy one of each

Well,
If there is one slr that rangefinder afficionados love, it's the OM (especially the 1). I'm looking forward to this forum. Now I have to get ahold of an XA!

my first 'good' camera was an oly 35rc.
i still have that camera, had it cla'd a few years ago.
it works great, is quiet and has a very nice lens on it.
it's always a good choice for a small light first rf camera.

Whoa! I didn't read the forum for one weekend and look what got created!!
I've heard Oly-nuts, Oly-freaks, Zuikophiles, Zuikoholic, etc.
What else have y'all heard people refer to us who just can't get enough of these Olympus darlings?
Now I've got to fill out the Olympus RFF Survey ...

Is it okay to discuss the Oly Trip 35 in the Oly forum? It's a bit like a Bessa L -- zone focus, no rangefinder mechanism. Sure has a heck of a lens for a simple little cam!
