Konica DIY fix

Reading the threads about the Konica auto S2 has made me feel guilty for leaving mine in a box for so long. It was my first (recent) rangefinder and seemed to perform very well. I made 12 x 16 B&W prints from an outing where all shots were taken from tripod. I've never yet bettered the detail in those enlargements from 35mm and am now thinking that I should get some more use out of it.
The main reason for it disappearing in a box was its very stiff shutter speed ring. Does anyone know of some information which would allow me to have a go at fixing this? The RF is off a little, horizontally, is this a difficult job?

Dave.......

Hi Dave,
Both are relativlyeasy to fix. The easiest way to sort the RF is to take the top off. Iff not AFAIR, one adjuster is under the hotshoe cover and the other accessible by the side of the rear finder cover.

For the rings, it is usually dirt. I will have to dig mine out to remind me how to access them.

Kim
