Lightbulb Owner and repair manuals on-line

In my search for info on my Hi-Matic 7s, I found the following site that deals with classic cameras. They have owner manuals and repair manuals on line, free for the downloading. Just thought this might be useful for some people.

Well, it's not free, but I found a manual for the S 312 (Which I still haven't used yet. Do I look ashamed?) at Old Timer Cameras in the UK. www.otcworld.co.uk. It was the only place I could find one and that includes John Craig's site, www.craigcamera.com, which has never let me down before. The service was excellent taking 6 days to get to the US west coast and less than $20 including postage, if I'm doing the pound/dollar conversion properly. They also have reprints of all the old Focal Guides which I think are great.

As most of us have some non RF cameras and it seems we all like classics, just remember that the Minolta USA site has free PDF manuals for a lot of their products, film cameras between them.

http://www.minoltausa.com/eprise/mai...Support_Manual

Just a thing, if you're looking for a SRT manual, they misplaced it as "Maxxum SRT 200 202", but that manual will be ok for any SRT model.

A friend of mine lost his X-700 manual and after sending an email to somebody from Minolta Germany he received an original manual and a 'thanks' letter in the mail in a few days. That's a good customer service indeed !

And yes, that 'links' section would be very useful :-)

I just picked up a repair manual for my Yashica GSN frommanuals2go.com for $10. It came on CD in PDF format. There's a huge selection of manuals there, too.

The "guru" of owner manuals is:

www.john@craigcamera.com

He's in Connecticutt and must have manuals for just about anything photographic ever invented, at least in the last 50 years. He puts out a catalog that goes on forever with owner manuals for just about anything you can imagine.

Anyone know where I can find diagrams or how-to instructions on disassembling/reassembling a Jupiter 8? I don't want to buy a book to do this, since the lens is so inexpensive...I could just buy another lens.

I want to take it apart so I can remove a large piece of dust or hair behind the objective lens.

Thanks!
