m6 rangefinder patch issue

Just got an m6 0.58 and it seems there's an issue with the rangefinder patch. Vertical and horizontal alignment are fine but the double image in the patch seems blurry. Moving eye around doesn't make any real difference. Overall the double image also seems less contrasty to another 0.72 I have here. Not easily usable to be honest and kind of surprising that this would be sent out. Anyone seen this before?

have you cleaned your viewfinder and rangefinder windows on the front of the camera?

The RF patch on my M4 was vertically a bit off. I sent it in for service and it came back perfectly aligned.

Vertical alignment is fine - I have had previous experience with adjusting this myself. Its like the actual coincidence image is blurred and lacking a lot of contrast making normal focusing almost impossible. Its on its way back but was more curious to see if anyone has seen this before.
