50mm f/2 Summicron hood needed
Anybody have an original clamp-on hood for the Summicron 50mm f/2 lens they would be interested in selling?

It's the rigid M-mount Summicron.

Rigid, old school cutie.
You need an IROAA if you want to be "correct," but any 50 Summi hood will work. I have an IROAA and also an after market copy, I think I want booth, but will think about it.
Ray, I have the reversable vented plastic 12538 with fitting cap.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Colyn. I don't think rover is selling his hood.
Here's a page that may help you with other choices:
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache...&ct=clnk&cd=14
Keh has 2 of the 12585 hoods available. That's what I use on my rigid.

You should have asked last week. I just sold an E+++ one with cap on the bay.

Colyn
I may be selling one in the next few weeks.
I'm trading in both my 50/1.4 old lux and later 50/2.8 against a new 50/1.4 lux
and i have a spare Lecia metal vented hood with the reversable cap which i purchased a while back off an Pnet member. The condition is excellent.

Thanks for the offer. I just picked up one on the *bay. It's the vented original Leica hood which I prefer and not the IROAA hood.
