How Do I Take Apart A Hektor?

I have an old Hektor 13.5cm and I'd like to remove the optical group, and clean things up. I thought the optical group just unscrews from these lenses but I can't get it to budge-nor do I know where it seperates from? Stu

Why, then, don't you send it off to someone for a cleaning? If the lens has any value to you then I would think it's worth avoiding doing some damage. Otherwise, get ya a big hammer...lol

If it does separated it normally would have been usable on a visoflex have you googled the visoflex options?

Good thought Noel. I found a pic of a visoflex and the Hektor optical unit. Now I see exactly where it unscrews from. Thanks again. Stu

Stu

The alternate plan was to attach it to back of off road vechicle and drag it round the homestead a few times...
