Stupid question about Bessa rangefinder

Hi!
I just noticed that the focusing patches of my Bessa R2 do not align when I focus infinitely. Thatīs not really good, is it? Can something be done about it???http://www.rangefinderforum.com/foru...cons/icon5.gif

No, it's not good. Yes, something can be done about it fairly easily: there is an external adjustment for the rangefinder's horizontal position, accessible through a port hidden under the accessory shoe cover. A repair technician should be able to do this adjustment for you in a few minutes. Or, if you are adventurous and have a set of good jeweller's screwdrivers, you can adjust it yourself.

The different Bessa models require slightly different adjusting methods, but I believe most of them have been covered on various threads here. Try a search of the forums and see if you can find directions for your model.

Good luck and have fun...
