compact clones question

I understand the Minolta 7sII, Konica S3, Vivitar ES and Revue 400SE are all good performers with slight variations as to features, but since I can't afford to buy all to try them out, has anyone ever made any comparisions with respect to their output, image quality-wise?

If you Google for those four cameras at the same time you'll get your comparison.

Hey Kat, yes, there have been comments about the ES and Revue, deep deep in the recesses of RFF if you search you will find them I am sure. It was a while ago, I don't recall the titles of the threads, but there were conversations about these cameras and some very good comments about the Vivitar in particular if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I remember there were some old ones and a new one. I'm just getting paranoid, I picked up a Vivitar a while back from ebay and am still waiting for it. I chose it because of all the raves it got here, but then I began to think how it was battery-dependent and wondered if I should have gone for the manual override of the Minolta...Then recently, people have been posting images from their Konica S3s and I really liked the smooth, 3D look they had. Now I'm confused!
