Toronto Photography Show

Had a pretty good day at the show. I was a good boy and didn't spend a dime. The table with the mustang covering is mine. What's left after about 2 hours and half the stuff was gone. Dave "dcsang' stpoed by to say Hi. I didn't notice any other menbers there although I may have recuited a few. There were quite a few rangefinders in evidence at a number of the tables.

Glad to hear that it went well. I really wanted to attend again this year. But I just couldn't make it down to Toronto this weekend. Oh well, there's always next year...

Sounds like a good show ... sorry I missed it ... but I probably would have spent money I don't have.

Were they worse than usual? There were times I wondered at that show if some of the vendors really wanted to sell any of their stuff.

hum LTM J12 for $120.00 and a J? 85 for $120.00 I thought that was just a little out of line. Also one heck of a ruff M2 (looked like it was cleaned with a hammer) for $1100.00

Good to hear you did well John. I was about to attend, but some last minute thing popped up.

I've attened 2 of these events and I also wonder if some people really want to sell or not with their prices.

did pretty good I think. Sold my Minolta X-7A system, Canon QL17-L, Bessa L, Some extra camera bags, some books, A bunch of filters and accessories, a bunch of 10-25 dollar cameras. So I am almost there with the funds for the M2 deal I am working on.

It was good to see John
And I did see Bill and his brother wandering around.

There was only like one or two Leica guys... if anyone loved manual 35mm film SLR gear there was plenty of that. Same goes for large format. Medium format was well represented but I noted a lot more large format than medium.

I ran a roll through it and didn't realy want to sell it. But I need to raise some cash for the M2 I want. My Contax is for sale to even though I decided not to sell it earlyer. I can't keep them and get the M2. Even the Leica IIIa I bought / traded for would have been on the table if it had arrived in time.
