Uploading Images to Gallery
I am not too happy with the current system for uploading images tothe Gallery.
When trying to upload ten images simultaneously, and when one image exceeds the allowed maxsize of 350 kb, why don't the remaining nine images upload? It is frustrating to wait quite a while and then be told that one image is not suitable for uploading. Maybe I am not doing things the right way and there is a way to get the other nine images uploaded?
I am supposed to get twenty images per day allowed for uploading. Is this per 24 hours from the time of the last uploading or is it "per day" ? I uploaded 11 images and got stuck then.
Are you satisfied with the current Gallery uploading system?

I'm not really satisfied... but if you notice, click to upload a blank page (so no photo's selected) and it should load an image list of the other photo's you had tried.

Well, you could check the size of your images before you upload them. That would solve one of your problems.

it's 24 hours, you need to remember the time you last uploaded.
if all the images were of the 'proper' size there would not be a problem, would there?
i understand your frustration raid, but i'm not really comfortable with your end question. i wonder why you would ask that instead of just following the pic posting guidelines.

I check the size of each image; today I had one with exactly 350k, and it would not upload. If I had known how to get the remaining images I would not have been unhappy.

although your computer tells you the file is 350, in physical storage it can exceed that by a few kb. can't remember the reason or correct terminology, but when you upload then it may change what filesystem or structure its on, and suddenly your file is bigger than before.

Raid,
Ash hit it on the head. Even though the upload bounced back because of the one image, the other images still uploaded and are waiting. If you go back to the Upload screen and click Upload again, without selecting any images to upload, you'll go to the next page and see your images (the ones that didn't fail). At this point you can either go back to the Upload page and upload your resized file (the one that failed) or you can proceed to upload the images that didn't fail and come back to upload the one that did fail (after you've resized it). Make sense?

Outside of the size limitation, the upload portion of the Gallery is one of the Gallery's better features. No problem with it, really.

I think its a cache-system thing, like a failsafe, as its not meant to happen that way. Ideally you'd get the image list with a message at the bottom erroring the bad images, but since it works on the same vain as any programming compiler (C, VB) you get the errors, then warning, then compile. So the uploads error, then you have to retry to sort that error and move onto compile, or rather, review. Since you already tried once and got halfway, with this upload system by selecting a blank to upload you bypass to where you left off, instead of getting an error that you selected no images to upload
