My new enlarger arrived today

The box was on a pallet standing upright. The lovely Roadway delivery person simply threw the pallet on the ground with no regards to the contents. I know because I was at the back of the truck as he fetched it. Now, I need to go through everything and make sure there is nothing broken. I'm sure a lot of people use Roadway not knowing how they treat their cargo. Unfortunately I would guess every company is the same. Its just that I saw first hand Roadway mistreat my parcel.

The fun begins tonight

I always wanted a personal darkroom but due to work and finance situation I guess I would have to wait till much later in my life before I set up one. My wife will kill me if she knows I am intending to convert one of the room to a darkroom!

first things first - shoot the driver!

have you done darkroom work before jorge?
i can still remember my first attempts, seeing the pic show up on the paper sitting in the developer - wow!!

i still have a full setup here in the basement but have let it gather dust for a couple of years now.
gotta get some motivation...

anyway, enjoy your new toys!

I blame you for the expenditures If it wasnt for this monthly photo project deal I would my cameras would stil be in the closet collecting dust. No I am all gun ho. Which brings me to the question. Whats the latest on the project?

Oh, Yes, I have printed before. Many years of it doing color and b&w.

things are pretty much set for the projects.
i will put up the guidelines soon and on new years eve i will post the first topic.
i'm thinking i'll post in the projects section of the forum and in the gallery section as well - all the better that no one will miss out.

Jorge, would it be possible to create 'January', 'February', etc. sub-folders in the photoproject folder - and the ability to 'move' photos to these folders like we can move from the gallery to 'nature' for instance?

Might help keep it clean :-)

Or if Joe gets you the monthly project name create the subfolder like 'January - Use you 50mm standard lens', etc.

Will do on the folders.

Backalley, make sure you create a link on the forum page to the project page.

All, thank for your help and motivation. I kinda feel like I am in school again.

By the way, just developed some B&W film, I will print tomorrow and probably scan tonight.
