Cool Member Galleries

Hi...
I sent an email to Jorge who, I'm sure, is very, very busy.
Could someone explain to me Re: posting pix... what's the difference between "Member Galleries" and some of the more specific ones?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike, the member galleries is your gallery for your photos. The more specific ones, more or less are the same thing but can be posted to by all members.

Let me apologize too. The Pass the Camera gallery is for photos related specifically to the Pass the Camera project. There is a Canonet being mailed around the world by members who shoot a roll of film with it and then post their images there. I moved 2 of your photos from that gallery this morning while doing some house cleaning to your member gallery. I apologize, I got tied up in emails and checking my morning news and forgot/did not yet get to send you a PM notifying you of the move.

So, other than the Pass the Camera Gallery which has a specific purpose, you may post photos in any gallery.

Re: MEMBER GALLERIES
Hi rover,

Thanks for your clear reply...
Moving my pix is OK; I'll probably move some myself.

I really like your shot of the clay crock in the window.
Also, I went to your blog, and love the composition in the 50's photo of lenses, cameras and books. It's a fine balance... bringing to the viewer ,the importance of optics, with the cameras behind them, and the books on either side.

Cheers,
Mike

Question how do you move photos from one album to another or single to album? last time i had to delete, re-load and re-caption everything? i can only see an option to re-order the viewing order of the albums and order of images within. I've asked this before but maybe it got buried in a thread.

any help much appreciated

Thank you Mike.

Simon, when you are viewing one of your images click the Edit Image button. You will find in that screen a gallery pull down menu. Choose a new one and then click Save Changes. That should do it.
