RD1 for 1150 british Pounds

Just got an email from Robert White. He has 7 RD1's left at 1150 British Pounds excluding VAT. I did the math and thats a very good price These wont last long.

They are also doing it in various "kits" with a fast 1Gb Lexar SD card and a selection of lenses which makes the price even more reasonable.

They've also been selling some of them on eBay, which is where I got mine.

Its "Foton" will take five 35-mm. pictures a second, sell for $700. Bell & Howell, which has found that "families of both low and high incomes now spend over $550" for movie equipment, hopes to sell 20,000 Fotons a year.
