From Cuba with love

I just found this on a Cuba forum I frequent.

Quote:
Jack Kenny has a sinking feeling when he looks around his little gray-sided photo store.

The shop is squeezed behind a dry cleaner and a fried-chicken joint on Plymouth's south side.

He can count boxes of unsold camera film approaching their expiration dates. Few people are buying film these days, and Kenny wonders how long Quicksilver Photo, originally a film-based business, can survive in the digital age.

"I'm dying," Kenny says.

Hey, not so fast.

It's tough to run a small business, especially when the paradigm upon which it is based is slipping away. Jack Kenny should consider his options very carefully. I don't know what his personal and economic situation is, but one suggestion would be to move to Cuba, sun on the beach, smoke cigars, and consume lots of rum-based drinks.

Im just reading the books homepage, looks promissing.

And Oldprof, I think I prefer running an oldfashioned photobusiness in the US than beeing broke in Cuba.
Since Fidel quit smoking it is forbidden in resturants or bars and the rum the locals can afford seems to be half paint remover and half something I realy don't want to know :-)
