Safari or site problem?

Once I post to a thread, I can no longer see additional posts. I keep getting the thread as it existed before my post. I know there are further responses through email notification, but only by clicking the link in the email can I get to the new posts.

I'm running Mac Safari on Tiger with all updates current.

Not a mac user here, but that sounds like the cache ain't being updated.. try to refresh the page.. hold down shift or alt or ctrl or squiggly-command-thingy while hitting f5 to refresh

I'm running the same setup as you, and haven't experienced this problem. (I'll see if I can see additions after THIS post!)

Yup, I'm seeing subsequent posts, at least MY subsequent posts. Not sure what to tell you -- have you tried using the "Empty Cache" command under the Safari menu?

Using Safari & haven't had the problem described.

Emptying the cache at least once a week (if not daily) is "Good Housekeeping."

I'm using Safari/OSX 10.3.9 with no problems

maybe it's a corrupt Preferences file.. or you might want to reset your "Permissions".. something that needs to be done every once in a while, kinda like rebuilding your desktop

My only issue today is that the site seems to be taking forever to load or to view threads.

Ah, turns out that up on the top of the thread list is a "display mode" button. I'd never noticed it before but if you click on it it brings up some display options. Mine was set to Hybrid mode. Changing it to Linear mode made everything look normal. The posts I was looking for were hidden behind this message:

More replies below current depth...

That's a big d'uh for me.
