Classified: Contact Seller ==> pm or email?

I recommend that in the classified forum the contact possibility for "contact seller" be changed from an email to a pm. I used this option several times the past 24 hours, with the result that my [first] "pm" was never received, and I lost out for a lens, and then again today, I nearly lost out on another lens hadn't it been for Jim to send me a pm and to post a comment after mine to alert me that my "sent pm" never made it to him. Sellers are usually viewing the first pm (and not email) as an "official" semi-binding contact. Please consider my proposal, unless I am mistaken and a pm is being sent when using "contact seller".

It seems that nobody will comment here. This should have been sent as a pm to Joe.

I usually send two PM's and one forum message. The first PM says I want your thing and will PM you again soon. Then I post a "PM sent" inside the thread. Then I send a longer PM requesting payment info or asking simple to answer questions while providing my contact info and shipping address.
This has covered most of my situations but if the forum is going down or PM's are full I guess I would shoot an email explaining my situation.
