Its Done! The server has been moved.

After a great deal of problems during the migration I think we have overcome them. We are now on a more powerful system and more stable version of the database. Should you see any glitches over the next few days, it is me fine tuning the environment. Anyway, thank you all for the patience. I hope I never have to do this again.

Hug your family. Take them out for ice cream.

Later and thanks!

Thanks Jorge. Now get back to your family. They have been patient far too long.

Btw, I sent you a PM several days ago. Did you get it?

Thanks a lot for taking so much time and effort to maintain this site, Jorge.

As for me... I never thought I was so forum-dependent! I kept clicking on the link on my toolbar every half hour, then every hour...

It's nice to see it back up again! Thanks again, Jorge!

Ah! Great! I can take off the hat and lay down the paper now.

Edit:
Attachements don't work, I get the database error after the upload finished.

48 excruciating hours down, glad to see it back up and saving me from using the below... (wups, attachments still not working!)
Hope the site will now be more responsive and reliable! Thanks Jorge!

Hoorah! It's great to have the system back! Here's hoping that the transition is relatively smooth.

Thanks for the effort.

Does this mean that DSLRX can go back to normal without all the RFF talk? Since it was invaded and conquered by RFF, I think we should be able to keep it as the spoils of war also.

OK, so spill the beans: Why was rangefinderforum.com aliased to anewphotoediting.com for a few hours?
