That's "my house" across the street; I've lived there for 30 years. Here in this shot two years ago the land the county bought was being cleared, sadly including the apricot tree in the foreground. Today, cool and rainy, some of this wood is in my fireplace providing a bit of warmth.

Captain, what's that small structure projecting from the sunlit side of the house at the ground level?

Where I live all depends on when I am living there....

1: Manhattan (sorry - a commercial shot - I need to take one!)

2: Copake

That's where the gas logs are. Wish they'd put a real fireplace in, but oh well.

Vincent,

To a real estate agent that is a charming place in need of some minor "sprucing up"!

Where I live, the real estate agents would call it a starter home.

Vincent,

How do you get an image like that? I mean one it which it feels like I can stick my hand into my monitor and feel the texture of the walls and floor? I have yet to make an image like that but in fairness to myself I have yet to try. Just starting out again in film thanks to this forum. Is there a technique or secret to that look?

My daughter moved out 3 years ago so I took over her old room as my workspace. Small, but nice having your own space to work or just hide out.

I´m far from home right now, and hence unable to post any picture of my house where I´ve been living since 1969.
But, as Andrew´s pìctures, those of mine will also show my partner who shares with me the house... and his picture is in my avatar... somertimes I think I´m livingin HIS house....

Next thursday when at home I´ll show a very old argentine house erected during 1880´s.

Ernesto

This has been home for the last 39 years. In southern middle Tennessee, we occasionally get a taste of snow. This was one of those days.
