Yes, I got my Iskra today. It is a quite new one. Everything is funcational but one thing I just wonder. Has the Iskra a selftimer? I read some webpages and they say it has, but I couldn't find that in my Iskra. Any one help?

Yes they have one. its on the right side of the lens. A green lever over a set of letters A, X and M. most don't work unless the lens has been serviced in the last few years. Push the lever toward the "A" , its pretty hard to move since you are cocking a timer spring. Dave

That's an exquisite lens on the Iskra. There is a part of me that regrets selling mine. You'll get some very good images out of it if you do your part; that is possibly the finest 6x6 folder ever made. Yes, I've used some nice ZI, Agfa, & etc folders. I still think the argument can at least be made as that remains the single finest Tessar I've ever shot.

Enjoy!

William
