eqpt. swapping...the temptation

Can get a sweet deal on a certain lens, but would probably need to liquidate my mint .58 silver MP which has had only a few rolls through it. The lens is a special one, not many made, and is one I've been admiring for some time. A .72 body will work better with it, which would relegate my 35mm to 2nd choice in most shooting conditions. So...I'm thinking of selling my MP, getting the lens, and adding a .72 MP in a bit. Oh the temptation...

My 35mm would be 2nd choice because a 50mm works for me more optimally more times. Hmn...

What about using one of those 1.25x magnification pieces, which would, in effect, turn your .58 MP into a .72 MP.

I actually do have the 1.25x mag., so I guess I'll keep the MP .58. Oh well...deals come and go, I may find another way to snag that lens.
