What I think are interesting are the "accidental" self portraits, those that produce an image, sometimes eerie, of the photographer.
The first 2 below are like this. Sorry, I can't find the original of the first.
The third below is the original of the one I used to make the current avatar. This is a reflection in Cloud Gate, the sculpture that has aroused quite a bit of controversy over the past couple years. I have another avatar from this as well, one scanned at max res which gives an almost recognizable self portrait.

Self portraits!
I take lots and lots of self portraits! I don't know if that makes me a narcisisst, but I'm such an easy model to work with, and I'm always available. And having an abundance of recent pictures of myself makes it simple to placate my mother.

Here is mine
Been a while since I've taken any self portraits. This is with the old Nikon D70 (first of two I had). Bathroom. Lazy sunday or something. Who knows.
I actually have lips. I just like making faces in the mirror.

yeah, well, I thought about which pic to put up - the funny one was the best choice. That was a couple years ago.
The girl in the avatar is an ex-GF. She was very photogenic.

First photo was taken with my D70s. Having breakfast at a bakery in my neighborhood.
Second photo is older and taken with a Coolpix 950 at arm's length. One of the happier days of my life.
I have various mirror self-portraits that I took with the M3 but don't have any handy as digital files.
