Maybe it's just me, but I look at remakes like that and see hours and hours of labor and [often very impressive] skills that improve nada. I know there must be a market for 'em, but as said here many times, if those craftsmen would put the same amount of time and effort into actually refurbishing the camera to top working condition rather than making it shine, their profits would probably climb dramatically.

Parts Zorki.4s engraved are around and could be grabbed pretty reasonable. The top plate wouldn't be too hard to swap out and you could sell the parts shooter's engraved knobs to somebody here and recover some of your investment. {{
Although... I'm not too good at setting aside a "spare-parts Zorki." I recently bagged a '59 Zorki.4 with the intent of holding it for spares. Once in hand, I found the only thing it needed was a little cleaning and lubing to loosen the film advance and it was good to go. Can't see parting out a camera that works fine. So much for spares.

Plan B ~ Zorki.5 & 6 have a little screwed on nameplate on the front. Something fabricated along that line might be fun/creative/unique.
