Kiu,

Joe has a Zeiss, Leica, and Canon...

No Nikon SP...

I know where he can get one at a great price, just for him, part of the evil plan...

I know someone who got an S2 w/lens (and in EX condition) for $25USD at a garage sale. I still hate him.

Why do you think I started this thread in a NO HOLDS BARRED part of the forum?
OK lets start with U Brian,
Quote:
Hello, My first Post. This seems an appropriate thread! I have an S3 which I use on a regular basis, it is a great "shooter". I wear glasses, so the VF intended for 35mm lenses works out great for 50mm "I can see the whole thing without squinting".

How many others of you shoot with Nikon RF gear? If not many, count on me to try pursuade you into it.....
What happend to the above? Did you get side-tracked? I am here to straighten things out
Now that I have the Nikon Part of the forum secured...
My next project, at the top of my list:
Quote:
Joe has a Zeiss, Leica, and Canon...

No Nikon SP...
We need to get Joe out of the dark side and together we shall rule the Galaxy(oops this isn't the StarWars forum)...

Curious,

What a bore!

My rant: The RFF General Discussion has, all of a sudden, become quite boring. I'm bored. I think others might be bored. If not, they should think about maybe becoming bored.

All they are talking about in the generak forum is photography. I can't think of anything more boring then *talking* about photography. After all, how much is there to really talk about. Especially on a repressive, narrow-minded forum like this that only wants to talk about "rangefinder cameras". What's the real difference between a picture taken by a RF and any other kind of camera. Not much. So talking about it like there really is a difference is BORING.

For the site as a whole though I think it's best for navel-gazing and whiny threads not to be center stage on the active forums page. I've been around for more than a year and for the first time today, bookmarked this "completely different" forum, because I think it may be interesting.

I actually never even knew this forum was here until a couple of days ago, when they started banishing the really interesting threads this way. This corner actually has a lot of potential for some of the more philosophical-but-esoteric discussions.

i think ranting is an immature waste of time

my favourite trilogy is lord of the rings

i love blue rodeo and jann arden and the americans don't even know who they are

i don't understand people who don't like tim's coffee

i don't understand people that like starbucks

macdonalds make the best fries

i really hate snow
and i don't care for hockey

baseball is the only real sport

and i spell god with a small g

i love my dog and i really really hate cats

one of my favourite books is '101 uses for a dead cat'

truth is, i hate darkroom work

i like to photograph

i love the fog

and the blues and jazz and frank sinatra should be cannonized

i think there should be more bald women

end of part one...

i don't understand people who don't care for hockey, especially ex-pat americans who move to wayne's town. those people are really, really sad

i think the arrogant worms are the greatest group ever. even fewer americans know them than jann arden and blue rodeo.

As my kids say, somebody needs to call the WAAAAAAMbulance.

BTW, I saw Jann Arden play at a little club here in Philly around '94 or so. And I'm a big Moxy Fruvous fan. THAT is one heck of a show.

I'm so pooped I don't even feel like ranting. Tell ya... it really sucks. Wanna rant? Gotta go somewhere else. This place isn't what it used to be, it's full of strange people now. They talk about sports, aging, Canada, music groups I've never heard about... and THEY TYPE WITH THE CAP LOCK KEY STUCK ON! I really hate that, and I hate dogs, and I hate snow and I hate being sick and having to work for a living. The worst of it is I hate feeling like now, so tired I can't even rant well

Tell ya... this place ain't what it used to be.

It's better! Heck of hecks! $&$# !#*% *$%$ *!#/$
