First photos with Canon Glll

Hadn't posted because I didn't know how to attach thumbnails. Tried Frank's way and .........Ouchhhhhhh.

Another shot from Glll it exhibits wonderful bright color, a very warm lens.

Very nice. I think you'll continue to like the GIII. I'm glad the gang here talked me into getting one about a year ago and I'm glad that a Leica fan speaks highly of it. I might suggest that you try some night shots and some available light shots, even some with the lens wide open. I think you'll find it's very "smooth" and will give you very pleasant results.

(Oh, and ICYC, I worked for a HoJo when I was back in college. Brings back memories.)

Used plain Kodak Gold 400 that I got in a 12 exposure just to check out the camera and lens.

Back many years ago most of my photos were evening and night shots and I did enjoy it. I have never taken so many wide open shots as I have since I started here at RFF.I am thoroughly enjoying every minute of both the photography and the forum. Thanks again.I will utilize the Canon for these shots. Further comments on this camera I will post in the Ca non section.
