Today a friend of mine dropped by with his father's camera. It clearly was a Leica, with an Elmar 50 and a Leica cap. Never seen one like that, so I went to Cameraquest, and Lo, he has a Leica 1A. What should I tell him it's worth? Saw one on eBay for $1,100. It does need some work, so where should i have him send it?
