March Madness Photo Challenge: Round One

Post your photos here and please link them in a comment on this blog post as well so that I have ONE place that I can go to find them all when I get the site I'm working on (yes, I have yet another domain) up later on next week. Should be ready by the time the next posting day comes around. Also note that I've decided that having Wednesday and Thursday of each week as a posting day is a good idea...this way everyone has a good chance of being able to post their pictures from the week.

I can't wait to see results of this.

You can just link your gallery shots, too. May be easier that way. But if you Go Advanced, you'll see a box for managing attachments. Click on that and follow it.

OK, here are mine for week 1.
I didn't see an obvious way to link the photos to the comment on the blog, so I just dropped 'em here.

Five photos a week (taken in that week) for the month of March. Just a little challenge to get people out and shooting.

How do you link an image from the gallery? I'm inquiring about the code. I tried doing <img src="http... whatever">, I tried with the "Wratp HTML tags around text" and won't try hyperlink...

Or should I?

I uploaded one to my gallery. When I click on it I get a direct load of the jpg, which I can then put into the comment on the blog.

My own personal gallery is down, so I had to upload a non RFF image to RFF...it's a contact print from a 5x7 LF camera. The scan isn't so great, but you get the idea.

I am going to break the rules and upload more photos this weekend. Getting to a one-hour lab is harder than you think when you don't have a car. It is the middle of the work week, too, of course.

You'll have to excuse my developing / scanning backlog, I may post all four weeks at once

Francisco, you can just paste the link here, it won't be automatically converted into an image inside the thread since IMG code is off on this thread.

You can just add the image as an attachment

Ok, here's mine. Taken last weekend. Will drop them here as I'm not sure how to link them to the other site.

Awesome.

I have to bow out of my own challenge this week, methinks, because I already kinda showed the photos I took. The fog shot is one of the ones that I liked enough to be a part of this. I've also been a bit under the weather...stomach problems again. Should be back to do things next week. I'll be spending the day in Des Moines either Saturday or Sunday of this weekend with my boyfriend celebrating one year of being together. I should get some good photos then.

Oh yeah, and the photos will be able to be posted at my new domain next week...I'll make sure to give details in next week's posting. I'm wanting to bring a few of the people I know closer to those here and at APUG...I think it's working. I just moderated a bunch of the posts on the blog so don't forget to check those out as well!

And further editing: to those who couldn't post links to their photos on the blog, I've linked this thread on the blog so you can just post the photos here. Good deal? I think so.

Bump: anyone else? You can post through today at midnight central time, which is in 9 hours about from the time of this post. Anyone can participate. And if you can't participate this week, try next week. I'll be doing something in April, too, so watch for info on that WAY early this time.

I will be picking up my week 2 photos tonight. Whether I want to post any of them is a different issue.
