My new Yashica Electra GS

I just bought an Electra GS tonight. I was impressed by the reviews I read about this camera. I think I'm going to enjoy the exposure automation this little RF offers. It seems like a very simple camera to use. Can any of you explain the two lights on the top plate? I assume they are over/under exposure warning lights but how do they work? Thanks for any input. Jim
