Summitar f=5cm

Got my Summitar in the post today. App ring was sticky , a few drops of lighter fuild and it moves free and easy. There is some dirt inside and what appears to be a small rust spot on one blade. How do I get the lens open to clean the inside? Thanks

The front element unscrews. Grab the very front ring and turn counterclockwise. Be careful!

Be very sure that what you're seeing is indeed "dirt" and not air bubbles; sometimes it can look like a spec of dirt --that's just the nature of optical glass of the era.

there is what appears to be one air bubble. there are also 3-4 larger black specs visable. Those are the ones I was going to remove and also clean any lose scale from the rust spot (maybe)

Careful. Soft glass. If coating, delicate. A lens to be treasured, not ruined.

If those spots don't seem to be doing anything to how the lens works, ignore them. It's better not to disassemble the lens and leave it alone as it is if it (seems) to be working right. A small spot or two or even more usually don't affect anything.
