Indian Ocean Island-Need Bessamatic Advice

HI will try this one last time?? Any Voightlander Bessamatic gurus out there?
I am working on a remote gold mine site in the Indian Ocean. Have bought a Bessamatic with a couple of lenses(enroute via snail mail)-I am not a photog guy, just want to know what other lenses will fit on Bessamatics?? How about a lens from the Vitessa series when they had seperate lens? Naturally there is no camera store or camera guru here so hope I am not . Best Regards, Russ

is your camera from the BLACK FOREST or the LAND OF THE RISING SUN?


If it is a new Japanese Voightlander bessamatic, it has a M42 screw thread mount and any M42 screw mount lens should fit Example: the Pentax line of lenses

Hi DosTacos-from the Black Forest cica 1950's. I bought on e-bay to recreate a camera set my parents had when we lived in Pakistan-nostalgic buy-will pass on to son later, I checked the web site for older camera-great info but does not mention size of lens opening and I am confused with talk of 42M, use leica lens etc. If the only lens type to use is the Bessamatic fine,than I will look for some more lenses.
