Looking for previously enjoyed film

I figure the best way for me to get great shots is to buy film with the photos already on it.. I wonder if there's a good source for that

Hey Joe Friday! I'm your source! PM me for the deal of a lifetime. I've got exposed film with HCB, Karsh, you name it even that upstart Adams.

Here's my offer: you send me the unexposed film and pay for processing, I'll get double prints and send you a set each time.

You could buy a bunch of prints from other photogs. and claim that they are your creation. This way you don't have to bother look at the small negatives. ;-)

I can imagine this: The RFF Negative/Positive Exchange.

I will not admit how or why I remember this but some of your racier "men's" magazines used to have ads in the back pages to sell rolls of exposed but un-processed film. The exposures were allegedly similar to but better than the photos in the magazines and not your typical vacation shots ...another small business killed by the internet.

It could actually be interesting to take an entire roll of film, send it to someone else, and have them develop it in their favorite developer and scan. Could get interesting results. There *are* plenty of people who do their own developing here.

On another board they did this with a camera. One would take a photo, not advance the film, send the camera and the next one would take another unrelated photo as the second exposure. Blind Double Exposure so to say.
Would be fun with film to have it developed by someone random.
