wide angle and tele attachments

I just got a pair of lenses that screw on the front of my Yashica.

it came with a viewfinder anybody ever use these?

I am thinking of this as my always in the car camera

Yes, I have them and used them once or twice. I guess there is nothing wrong with them but I just don't like them. I really can't explain why I don't.

I bought a used set that was in virtually new condition and I sold it in that same condition. The set is fiddly in use because you first focus with the RF then transfer the reading to the aux lens then recompose.

The GSN would make an ideal always-in-the-car camera imho.

The auxiliary converters for the YE35 gave you a 58mm or so "tele" and a 38mm or so "WA", with the disadvantage of being a bit...hummmm..... uncomfortable to use (as 2Manycameras said).
I think is better using "feet tele" or "feet wide" lenses (cheaper and faster). I agree to say that either GT or GSN are excellent car cameras.

well for me it is wheel wide and wheel tele as I tend to be sitting in my wheelie chair. the camera lives in my center console ready to go, I will play with them just for giggles

Oh, dear, not those things again!

When my first-ever 35 (Yashica 5000E Lynx) broke for the third time in 1973, I went out and got a used Electro 35 GTN outfit, including fitted case and accessory lenses. the case was "typical" hard case. The lenses were worse, and the auxiliary VF was instructional in my resisting using lenses on RFs that required them years later. End of story.
