Lynx 14e battery adapter

Hi all, I recently received a Lynx from another RFF member, while I have no complaints (it's beautiful!) I do have a question. It came with a battery adapter that was assumed to be from the yashica guy, but after contacting him I have learned it is not - my question is if anyone here recognizes it, and more to the point, what batteries it takes. I'm sorry about the photo quality but I think it gets the idea across ( if not I could post another tomorrow)

Thank you in advance

OK dont know why that will not work...Plan B
the adapter is about 2cm long, round fits nicley, and made out of a hard off white material. it has a small oblong cut out on one side - about 4mm x 7mm. I know a picture is worth a thousand words but I can not seem to get it to upload, sorry.
