Post New C/Y mount camera, ZF AND M42 lenses

Read all about them: http://www.zeiss.de/C12567A8003B58B9?Open

Apparently the camera is a re-badged Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 made by Cosina. I wonder if Cosina will offer it under yet another brand name?

Can you give a more specific URL? I looked around the site but couldn't find anything about what you are talking about. Sounds interesting.

Sorry, this URL is more specific: http://www.zeiss.de/C12567A8003B58B9...2570F8003D4EB9

No wonder Cosina is discontinuing at least some of the SL lenses, considering the fact that they will soon be making those ZF and M42 lenses as directed by Zeiss. They have circular diaphragms (nice!) and are supposed to be digital ready.

Thanks. Interesting to me as I still have and use M-42 mount cameras. I have Fujica, Yashica and Pentax M-42 mounts. As it turns out I also have the FX 103 and FX 3 in the Y/C mount, with two 50mm f/1.4 T* lenses. Really wonderful glass. You have to be careful looking through the lenses that you don't cut your eyeballs.

I still didn't see anything about the new camera. I never got the FX 3 2000 but the FX 3 is nice and still works even if the batteries die. The battery is only for the meter.

It will be interesting to see what other lenses they come out with and more importantly, what the cost will be. Not cheap I am sure.
