HK Supplies?

Its almost buy time! Need to gather up my final numbers. This place HK Supplies seems to have good prices. http://www.hksupplies.com/

Anyone out there in rff land ever buy from them? Any comments? Is there somewhere better and cheaper that I could buy my M7 from?

One advantage it would seem of this place is because I am living here in China so any imediate problems would be easy to remedy.

I've never bought from them, but many folks at photo.net seem to like their service.

Your proximity makes them even more attractive.

A wee bit more expensive (~USD 50), but you may get some confudence in return.

I have bought from Poon many times. He is a first class seller, and if there is a problem he will do what ever it takes to make it right. I highly recommnend him.

He also has an ebay store, which lists more items than his website. His ebay seller id is etefore.

I bought a Contax T3 from him some time ago and the service was very good indeed.

Tony Rose at popflash.photo (see banner above) has the best prices. His descriptions may be a bit different on the same items, but you would be making a serious mistake if you did not email him before purchasing.

I can recommend popflash.com as well for service and prices. e.g. check out his price on the 75 lux- cheaper than HKsupplies last time I checked. Ask about the "used like new" description and what it means- can mean brand new gray market.

Some one correct me if i am wrong but i believe that the "used/like new" designation at popflash actually refers to grey market products. So it would be the same as HK supply but it ships from the US at a lower price.

the last time I checked used/like new ment used either way, they should be more clear about that, plus since im right next to hk I dont see the benifit of having it shipped over from the US

Granted there are some good prices in Hong Kong and Singapore you have to understand that dealing with a company like Popflash you have someone at the other end of the phoneline and someone with a reputation to protect therefore a reason to provide you with great and long lasting service.

As far as advertisement goes if you display this sign on your website you have to play by a different set of rules and are accountable directly to Leica unlike the other situation where if you call Leica they say " Sorry , Never heard of the guy".

As I said, "used like new" means brand new gray market. It must have something to do with being a Leica USA dealer and rules handed from Leica. I've bought a 35 lux asph (chrome) from popflash.com that was "used like new" but was in fact brand new in the box but a gray market item. I am completely happy with it and the service.
