What a trouble, isn't it? Just a week ago, our comrade Oscar (taffer) said me: “But beware, there's something they don't tell you when you buy a soviet rangefinder, and that is that you'll soon buying another one, they're really addictive !!!”, and is really true. Now, before I receive my new Zorki 4K, I'm looking for a Fed 2. I've found that there are some versions. What do you thing about the a, b, c, d, e, ......?

As another with a Keiv 4a on its way to me, and adding a favorite search to eBay for FED 2, Zorki 4K, and a Leica M6, I feel your pain. There is something about those FSU cameras that have a certain appeal. Unfortunately, it seems to always involve our wallets

I'd be interested in the differences also.

The trouble is... when he gets around to buying a Holga it will all be over.

I think the only only main differences between FED 2's is if it has a self timer, the progression of shutter speeds and a few differences in knobs and a hump for the shoe. My FED 2 is a type 'D', but I don't use the self timer, but I do like the bigger knobs (and because it's green).

OT: Finally received my Kiev 4 (1959) today. Seems like a nice camera, the build quality feels better than the the FED, except for the the removable back. The Contax hold is very odd, but hopefully, I'll learn to adjust.
