An Iskra with new clothes

The covering of the Iskra and many other russian cameras is in my opinion pretty ugly, so I ordered a new set from cameraleather.com. Here it is: the attractive Iskra!

Very nice looking camera! Have you taken pictures with it? Recently I am seeking one myself, but it seems very diffult to find.

You've done well, cereus. A good choice of material. Very nice ~ looks like it's new, sitting on the camera shop counter!

I have not tried it yet. I wanted the camera to look nice first! Yes it had generic ribbed nylon. Not very nice looking. I don't know if cameraleather has it in brown covering though. You can check with their website.

I hate that ribbed nylon cover, and mine came with it already in very poor condition so I replaced mine for some brown leather I got from a jacket store here

But that black looks cool !

Mine came with the ribbed nylon cover in perfect condition. Itīs a same, because I donīt like it , but that(and my clumsiness) stops me from changin it. I decided to buy mine after seeing Toddīs and Tafferīs photos.

I would like to see yours Taffer, it must look

Optikhit: I woud email Oleg, He has a wonderful reputation
as repairman and seller, and y saw an ISKRA in his "new arrival" list.
