Pic quality diff with Voigtlander 15mm and Cosina 15mm?

Can anyone please advice me if there's any difference between the Voigtlander 15 mm lens and the older cosina 15 mm lens?

Are the lens elements of the same quality?

Which lens produce a better photos?

Thanks

I didn't even know there's been an older cosina 15mm lens. Are you sure it was intended for use on a rangefinder? If it was aimed at SLRs then it will definately be different as that lens would have to accomodate for the larger flange to film plane distance caused by the SLR mirror box.

Way before the Voigtlander, Cosina actually made a Cosina Body same like the Bessa L and also a 15mm lens too, but the brand indicated on the Body and lens is Cosina

The design, shape and weight are the same as the Voigtlander ones.
But I need to find out the Voigtlander an improved lens over the old Cosina ones

Sorry I do not have picture on the lens front view.
If you look closer, you will be able to see that there's no "Super-Wide Heliar " on the front of the lens

My bet is that it is the same lens. I looked over at Cameraquest.com and they mention the Cosina branded camera, but did not mention anything about the lens.

I assume that Gandy would have mentioned the improvements in his write-up of the lens. Other than the posse of 35mm lenses they have introduced, Cosina has not updated any of their Voigtlander lens offerings that I know of.
