w/nw: eye contact

Sometimes not being invisible and/or not having a dead-like quiet shutter is what makes the shot

Sometimes they spot you well before you're ready for the shot

Which 1/2 of her was nude for your figure study Joe? The back 1/2 or the bottom 1/2?

Hmmm, one point in Photo.net's favor, then, but that really IS a cute kid with a cute smile, so good on you anyway!

Didn't embed images, just linking to them.

First one with three dudes posted before, we were in a foreign language shout-off

Contax g1, 90mm, acros

Took this guy the year before in Merida, Mexico, saw him near the church every morning with various cronies, whom he appeared to sick after me after which I high-tailed it out of there (I seem to attract that sort of attention, haha):

And most recently, this guy, on whom I tried my own b.s. skills on, but was caught red handed and failed miserable, hahaha:

(just trying to keep the thread high in the list so it gets seen :-)

This one is dancing in the street with child on shoulders. Kinda looked nice.
Doubt that a still shot does it justice. Anyway she spotted me before I found
the shot I was looking for.

Nice one, James! You didn't continue shooting her dancing?

I'll join in with another...

Thanks,
I think I may have some lesser shots. This was telephoto from one of my first few street shoots ;-)

This kid saw me with the camera, posed before I could get it to my eye.
Well I just had to take the shot. Doesn't count as a candid though!

Well, I guess the answer is "no", but most of the time I'm quite happy to sacrifice some shadow detail for the high-accutance and compensating effect of Rodinal. (The work of Josef Koudelka has long ago convinced me that lack of shadow detail is not always objectionable, and can actually be put to great effect -- for the right subject matter, of course).
When I want shadow detail with Tri-X rated at 800-1600, I develop in Calbe (aka Adox) A49 1+1.

Cheers
Vincent
