Underwater housing and we adapter for rx100

Ikelite announced an under water housing for te rx 100.. But what caught my eye was a .58 wa adapter for it... Price 475 ouch...

.58 at 28 puts it slightly over 16... I wonder if this is for underwater only?

Looks like the wide-angle adapter is designed to be attached to ikelite's housing so, whether or not you would use it only underwater, you'd need the hosing for an additional $400
