Oh, why GAS

The gods of rare lenses (i.e. expensive rare lenses) are torturing me again.

Oh boy! OK Vick, what's on your mind? I just got two Nikon RF lenses in Leica screw mount and a Canon 35mm f2. Not too exotic.

Vick, GAS isn't really an issue of camera gear, it's really a symptom of our culture.

I read the following in an RFF member's signature and if you give it some thought, you'll find the cure to your GAS. All of us would!

The man once told The Buddha, “I want happiness”.
The Buddha replied, “First remove ‘I’, that’s ego.
Than remove ‘want’, that’s desire.
And now all you are left with is Happiness.

Zunow 5cm. Two on ebay now. Still feel stupid stupid stupid for destroying the
$600 lens that I found at Leo's Camera in Vancouver a couple years ago.

I wish I were as wise as Buddha.
