OM-D E-M5 in Scotland
Went on a family trip to Scotland and took only the E-M5, 12-50 kit lens, and 17mm. I mostly used the zoom--something I almost never do. I have to admit, it acquitted itself well. The camera was a real pleasure to use, and the dynamic range was amazing. I took a lot of high-contrast shots that needed much adjustment, and was able to pull all kinds of information out of the shadows and highlights. The set, and some examples:

Ha! We had exactly two sunny days in three weeks. I didn't mind missing the heat wave back in the states, though.

It was indeed brutal here. My lawns were so brown, yet some of the "weeds" thrived and made things ugly. Until the 3 days of rain last week, and the real soaker today, I feared we would have no tomatoes. I'm still not sure, I doubt there's enough time save for the ground cherries.
The garlic, however, went gangbusters over the mild winter. I will have to consume larger amounts of pasta with garlic and olive oil. Pity.

Wonderful images!! Being on the fence for a purchase, I find the colors and DR so appealing and rich.
Thanks for sharing.

Hell yeah! My favorite fish and chips, though, was at the Silvery Tay, a takeaway in Newport, where we were staying in our friends' house. Also loved the haggis at the Prince of Wales pub in Aberdeen.
