Wow - rumor is that they will be solid titanium and not simply plated as before. That is a serious bit of machining.

Granted, my Contax G1 makes me think big and rich... The titanium body is nice, heavy and solid.

But a Leica in titanium like this?

Just for collectors, not for photographers.

I wonder if, should you be in dire financial straits, these kind of purchases can really count as investments. Can a Leica bail you out of bankrupcy or debt?
