This is a strange country--you can steal millions and get off scot-free, but you can time for this. There's been no coverage of this in the local papers that I can recall.

how ridiculous. i hope the guy doesnt get slapped with 7 years. imagine an american making a meme or something and getting prison time because of it.

I have a hard time condoning vigilante justice. The US has some ridiculous laws, but the system as a whole is one of the best in the world. Granted, a lot is weighing on it and making the entire thing sometimes seem broken, but the media lies and only tells people what will sell. I believe in a system of laws over vigilante justice. The S. Korean people should rise up, support this man, and get the laws overturned. A judge enforcing a law I don't think should have his legs broken or anything, my 0.02.

It is sad though.
