How long does the slow boat take?

Mine is coming from the Ukraine. How long does it generally take for a camera to get from there to the US?

TIA,
Tony

I can chip in with a few packages from Ukraine to the Netherlands, those took about two weeks. Coming from Czech Republic it was about 1 1/2 weeks. From Japan a package took only four days!!! It can easily take that long for a parcel to get from my town to Brussels, in the nextdoor country . . .

What? It's been several years since I waited on the slow boat from the Motherland, but I'd call 8 days a miRacLe!

Took a week and a half to get a package from Australia; took 2 weeks to get a check from a place 45 minutes away.

Ukraine to USA usually takes 10 days to 14 days.

The weak link in that chain is actually the USPS, slow and inefficient incoming mail process.

Japan to west USA is around 4-5 days, again with USPS being the weak link.

I received a blue Fed-2, type c, from Andrey (aka Hero4g Synoptics Camera) today. It was shipped on June 25 and arrived July 23/12.
So it was almost a month from Ukraine to BC, Canada.

From Urkaine to Toronto: Shipped on the 16th, received on the 24th, so about a week. I paid $15 in shipping but I got rid of the packaging so I can't verify exactly what shipping method my seller used.

For the record, the same amount of time it took USPS to get me my package from fedka, from NY to Toronto.

I've bought several items of darkroom equipment and a number of cameras from Ukraine dealers over the past 10 years. Shipping time has been 10 to 14 days on all shipments. That's from Ukraine to Texas.

That's a Panzer tank of a camera, I love A-1s.

We usually wait from two weeks to one month here in Argentina for American or Chinese packages to arrive. Nothing works properly around here...
