Legacy Glass

Hi folks,

Just wondering how manual focusing is with legacy glass on the X-Pro 1?
I've previously used Canon FD lenses on an Olympus EP2 and found it to be ok to focus but was a bit tricky to get it to zoom, it seems to me that in MF mode pressing the control on the back goes straight to 10x zoom to aid with focusing but just wondering how people find manual focusing older lenses?

It takes a bit of practice and a bit of getting used to. In bright sunlight I find it is no problem at all. But if the light is flat or if it is darker, say at night, it is much trickier. One thing that is a must IMHO is that you must open the lens right up to focus, and then close down to the aperture of your choice. Don't know if others have experienced this, but I sure have. Practicing zone focusing doesn't hurt either!

There is no focus peaking, and the magnification feature is not very good.
