Filters for a Nikkor 35mm f2.5 lens

Hi all,
Now that I know that the camera and lens works, I want to get either
a UV or skylight filter, Now I've been reading that it takes a 43mm size,
will the new filters fit on it or do I have to look for a older type known as
the 43mm E? I read on a thread that the new type binds is this true?

Thanks

I use Marumi multicoated 43mm UV filters. They screw onto both my modern Nikkors with 43mm thread size and 0.75mm pitch and my vintage Nikkors with 43mm thread size and 0.50mm pitch.
