Surely it doesn't beat the Nikon logo.

Wow ... I'm beginning to suspect that someone with a Nikon beat you up and stole your lunch money when you were a little photographer!

Mention of Leica = ok
Mention of Nikon = psychological issue

Of course!

If there are black dots sold why couldn't be black stripes, too?

It's funny! With all this talk of the red Nikon stripe I just realised I've never really noticed it ... I just had to get my D700 out of the cupboard for a looksee!

It is pretty stupid!

Well, it does give shooting from the hips a different connotation!

That site seems to be localised based on gepgraphical location.

I'm getting a Dutch-written page with a MSRP of EUR 349 (!) and a discount price of EUR 199 (!) for that kit.

What's the going price in other countries? Not that I'm gonna get it, but I'm wondering nonetheless

It came up as $249.00 USD when I clicked the link.

Nothing like a good, unused camera in mint shape for an under-market price.

Who in the right mind would buy that for $249?

The metal-looking logo on the back is cool, though.

Oh wow, thats almost half as exquisite as my original Leica MP that I had refinished with rare (extinct) lizard skin, with 24k gold Ls placed over the logos.
