MX-EVS screen better than 3.5T?

OK so I got a 3.5T, got addicted and tried an MX-EVS. The MX-EVS focusing screen is noticeably brighter/crisper than my 3.5T, is this normal? I'm wondering if someone replaced the screen on the MX-EVS. No complaints; I was just curious.

you might have found an EVS with a newer screen. The biggest diffrence of course is the removable screen on the T. Besides, there can be a whole lot of parameters : better viewing lens, cleaner mirror...

The original focusing screen in the Rolleiflex 3.5 B ("MX-EVS") is a ground glass with a grid. But you could by a Rolleigrid fresnel-lens to place over the ground glass to brighten it. It is of course possible that a previous owner has replaced the gg.
